Thank you to everyone who registered! Get ready to take over the downtown streets of Toronto in the Scotiabank Rat Race for United Way. Happening on Thursday, June 14, 2012 and starting at Scotia Plaza, 40 King Street West in the heart of Toronto’s financial district, this five-kilometre fun run is a popular fundraising event for United Way Toronto. Now get fundraising and help us reach our $500,000 goal!
By running, you have a chance to do so much more than just participate in the event — you can help create opportunities for a better life for everyone in our community by fundraising past the minimum pledge amount. Of the pledges you gather, 100% of the funds will directly go to United Way Toronto, helping support a wide network of health and social service agencies serving our community.
It’s when we come together at events like the Scotiabank Rat Race for United Way that we can make long-term change happen. Every dollar you raise allows us to go beyond helping one person at a time — it means changing whole communities to make things better for all of us. We’ll see you at the starting line!

Time: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Race Kit pick up: 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Pre-race activities (entertainment, DJ and warm up): 6 p.m.
Opening ceremonies: 7 p.m.
Race start: 8 p.m.
Post-race party and awards ceremony: 8:45 p.m.
