• YOUTH CHALLENGE FUND ANNOUNCES $3.5 MILLION TO SUPPORT NEIGHBOURHOOD PROGRAMS FOR AT-RISK YOUTH
  Toronto's Youth Challenge Fund (YCF) took an important step forward today by announcing a total of $3.5 million in its first round of investments for youth-based projects across Toronto.

  United Way of Greater Toronto, Enbridge Gas Distribution and Toronto Hydro today announced the 2006-2007 Winter Warmth Fund, providing financial assistance to low-income families and individuals struggling to pay their heating and hydro bills.

Eight budding hockey players from Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto got a chance to GO FOR THE GOAL with Toronto Maple Leafs Tie Domi and Bryan McCabe at Ricoh Coliseum. The Toronto Maple Leafs teamed up with United Way on September 9 to unveil the most important goal of the day – United Way’s 2005 fundraising goal of $94.5 million – to support our community.
