    It took no time at all for the “rats” to infest the downtown streets tonight in a 5km race in support of the community. Exceeding a goal of raising $500,000, participants came together to make a lasting difference in our communities. The Scotiabank Rat Race for United Way drew over a thousand runners who want to make a difference through the local agencies and initiatives funded by United Way.
