What is a GenNext® Leader?

Are you in your 20s or 30s? Are you dedicated to supporting the community and helping us make our city a better place for all? If so, we invite you to become a GenNext Leader. GenNext Leaders are young philanthropists who support United Way Toronto with an annual contribution of $1,000 or more.

GenNext Leaders is also a program that invites you to take part in supporting United Way Toronto’s work in the community by engaging with our member agencies and community partners. We provide engagement opportunities through our “My Three C’s” program, which gives you a chance to mix and match those activities and events that appeal to you:

The My Three C’s are:

My Company: Quality corporate networking and career development opportunities for Leaders; Collaborations with GenNext Ambassadors and the Ambassador Network Officers on the United Way GenNext cabinet. My Community: Higher-level community involvement and volunteering opportunities for Leaders; Partnerships with United Way Toronto member agencies and the Community & Engagement Officers on the United Way GenNext cabinet. My Circle: Exclusive social events and opportunities for Leaders to expand their circles; Collaborations with other young professional groups in the city.
