United Way Toronto fundraising events
At United Way Toronto, we hold various fundraising events throughout our annual campaign. Along with our campaign launch, there’s also the Scotiabank Rat Race for united Way, the Enbridge CN Tower Climb for United Way and other special, smaller events, such as GenNext®’s Rouge. You can take part in any of these events by acting as a fundraiser or volunteer. For more information about each of our major events, including date, location and how to take part, check back with our site’s Events section throughout the year, starting in the fall when we kick off our fundraising season. Participating in United Way Toronto’s fundraising events is a fun, enjoyable way to come together with people in our community while building a better city for all.
Annual United Way Toronto events
Every year, we hold established fundraising events that are open to public participation. These events are an opportunity to show that you care about your city—by taking part and fundraising, you’re making a difference. As part of United Way Toronto’s efforts to engage the community and bring people together in a common purpose, fundraising events provide you with an opportunity to give back, have fun, connect with others, and support the cause. Among our most popular events is the Enbridge CN Tower Climb for United Way, where you can tackle the CN Tower by climbing the 1,776 steps to the top in your best time. We also hold the Scotiabank Rat Race for United Way, which has hundreds of runners take on a fun five-kilometre downtown running course. Be sure to check out our Events section starting in the spring for more information on how to sign up and fundraise for these and other events.
