IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL CLIMBERS

  • Online registration is now closed. Same day registration is still available for the Public Climb on Saturday October 25 with a minimum $50 in pledges.
  • All climbers will receive an exclusive Enbridge CN Tower Climb for United Way t-shirt with their climb time.
  • All climbers must go to Simcoe Place, 200 Front Street West, Concourse Level (on the north side between Simcoe and John Streets - see map) to sign waivers, submit pledge money and check coats before proceeding to the tower. (Remember, this is a HANDS FREE CLIMB.)
  • Waivers: ALL CLIMBERS MUST SIGN A WAIVER AT SIMCOE PLACE BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THE CN TOWER. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by at least one responsible adult, 21 years of age or older. Waivers must be signed by a legal guardian prior to the event, and by the climber and the responsible adult at the event. Students must have all appropriate signatures in order to climb. Student waivers are available from your team captain or download a student waiver. Participants who are 18 years of age and older can complete their own waivers at the event. Climbers under 12 years of age must be at least 42 inches tall and accompanied by an adult while climbing.
  • HANDS FREE climbing: Climbers are NOT permitted to carry anything up the stairwell: water bottles, camel packs, backpacks, infants/children, cell phones, cameras or any electronic devices or portable music devices such as MP3 players, iPODs, etc. will not be permitted. This will be strictly enforced. Fanny packs will be permitted for the purposes of carrying identification and keys ONLY. Fanny packs will be inspected.
  • Proper close-toed, athletic footwear is mandatory. Sandals are NOT permitted.
  • Hydrating stations will be provided just before climbing and once you reach the top.
  • Coat/bag check is available in Simcoe Place, 200 Front St. West, Concourse Level. However, we recommend you leave valuables at home*.

*Note: United Way is not responsible for lost or stolen articles
