Make a big difference—fundraise past the minimum amount

YOU CAN CONTINUE TO FUNDRAISE UNTIL NOVEMBER 18, 2011

You can log in to your personal fundraising page and continue gathering pledges until Friday, November 18, 2011 by 5 p.m. EST. By fundraising for United Way Toronto, you’re contributing to our Community Fund, which supports agencies helping hundreds of thousands of people throughout our city. Because of your fundraising efforts, we are able to help people move from poverty to possibility. Because of your taking on the Tower, we are able to build healthy people and strong communities. And because of your generosity and time, we are helping kids be all they can be. We can’t do this vital work without you—by joining us, we’re all working together to build a better city for everyone.

Together, we can make this Enbridge CN Tower Climb for United Way the best one yet. Please continue to use your fundraising page to take action, fundraise and reach out to your network of friends, family and coworkers.

Continue gathering pledges with the help of Facebook and Twitter

You can check out our Facebook page, United Way Toronto, which features photos, your climb time, information on the event, and more that you can share with your friends, family and coworkers as you continue to gather pledges until November 18. Also follow us on Twitter at @unitedwayto to learn about how we’re doing as we work toward breaking our goal from last year’s climb. Plus, be sure to share your photos, stories from the climb and fundraising tips on our Facebook wall or by using the hash tag #uwclimb when tweeting!

Get pledges via smart phones

Now when you send out your “sponsor me” email from your online personal fundraising account, your friends, family and coworkers with smartphones (iPhone, Blackberry, etc.) can donate to you right through their smart phones! It’s quick, easy and safe to do.
