Zurich's Got Talent a fundraising highlight for employees
On October 20, 2011 Zurich Canada employees showed they have a creative side at the Zurich’s Got Talent fundraising event. A number of employees put on a show for their colleagues at the fundraiser for United Way Toronto, with acts from a drummer, singer, dancer, guitar player, soccer player, and even a saxophonist.
With more than 300 Zurich employees taking part in the company’s fundraising campaign this year, they’ve exceeded their goal of $125,000 by two percent—and they’re still fundraising. Along with Zurich’s Got Talent, other events that employees took part in included the Enbridge CN Tower Climb for United Way, the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, cook offs, silent auctions, and a pancake breakfast.
Fundraising for United Way Toronto for more than 20 years, Zurich employees believe in coming together to make a lasting difference in our communities.
“The specialized focus of each agency combined with the broad scope of the overall United Way network means that every employee knows their contribution is going to make a meaningful difference in the city where we live, work and raise our families,” says Alister Campbell, Zurich Canada President and CEO.
Thank you for your continued support, Zurich Canada.
