Campaign Archives
Here are some highlights of the 2006 workplace campaign.
Algorithmics Flips for the United Way!
Community was the focus for this year’s campaign and Algorithmics Inc. managed to not only help raise money for the community but they also fostered a spirit of community within the company’s 291 Toronto employees at this year’s campaign events. The kick-off started with a Halloween Pancake breakfast where Algorithmics Senior Managers donned creative costumes and prepared some ghoulish looking (but wonderful tasting) pancakes to the delight of Algorithmics staff. Staff members tipped their favourite chefs and the winner of the event received the “Golden Spatula Award”. Throughout the week various events like a raffle, book and bake sales and the annual silent auction, along with the employee pledge campaign and corporate matching program all went towards making this the most successful campaign in Algorithmics history. In total, Algorithmics raised over $44,000 in cash and pledges in under one week!
